Halloween was a super spooky affair in the infant classroom. We had an amazing display of both spooky and creative costumes. Well done to everyone for the huge effort.
The boys and girls really enjoyed using their playdough, pipe cleaners and googly eyes to create these fabulous spooky spiders.
Recently, we have been learning all about words that sound the same. Each pupil placed an object in their "Rhyming Bag" and gave the class a clue, a rhyming word, as to what was inside. Everyone made such a great effort and we had lots of fun guessing what was in our friend's bags!
Each day the Junior Infant pupils have a "Funky Fingers" session, focusing on developing our fine motor skills. Scratch art was a big hit! The boys and girls loved scratching away to reveal a rainbow of colour.
We have been focusing on friendship in our SPHE lessons recently. The boys and girls loved creating a web of friendship during circle time.
