On Tuesday, 21st December we took a little trip to the church to see the crib. We had been learning all about the Nativity story in class and the children were fascinated visiting the church and viewing the beautiful crib. When we came back to school, we coloured in our own nativity scenes and made a simple stable from lollypop sticks.
On Monday 20th children came to school armed with their wellies and wooly hats! We set off on a fabulous walk around the Race Course enjoying the cold and crisp December morning air. We remembered our road safety rules and all wore our high viz vests.
Friday 17th December was a very special day in Scoil Naomh Treasa as the boys and girls came to school dressed in their Christmas jumpers. We made delicious hot chocolate in the slow cooker and then had a ball watching the Helix Christmas panto "Red Riding Hood".
